Police told us it is not allowed to stay here with motorhome, so we had to love. Best place to sleep inside rio: Lagoa da Freitas.

We slept here 5 days. Very safe. People come to see the sunset everyday and the fisherboats or restaurant on the corner can give you water.

There is also a very nice sleepingspot next to the hanggliding area! In front of beach shower and toilet so if we knew that earlier we would have went there. We took taxi to go somewhere anyways.

We did not trust the city and we could not take the cycles with our creditcard (was not working) so we took taxi everywhere. This is very safe and easy.

Very good place around the marina. We stay here more than more than 1 week, without problems. Safe place, very quiet, good spot near the beach, good to the port. You have so close a drugstore, park with bar, market and some bar and restaurants along the road close to the beach. Charming place I really recommend.

Just to find a place just come at the last of the day, you can be sure to find a place, the day just pray 😂

Nice streets that border the fish boat harbor.
There is a small park here too. Quiet at night.

Depois de 1 semana no Leme Copacabana vim para o quadrado da Urca e aqui fiquei por 3 dias 3 noites sem problemas. não a ponto de energia e água pedi para os moradores ao redor...fim de semana pescadores chegam às 5:00 da manhã e fazem muito barulho então prepare-se para acordar cedo rsrs. As vagas são super disputadas então chegue na madrugada ou não encontrará vagas...lugar seguro pelo menos para mim foi... se inscreva no meu canal YouTube Kombiletsgo, abraços e boas viagens 🚐💨💨

ENG: Quiet place to spend some nights in Rio de Janeiro. Free parking, secure area, lots of cameras and apartment security staff. At night it is very quiet, during the day it is more crowded.

ESP: Lugar tranquilo para pasar algunas noches en Río, es bastante seguro hay un montón de cámaras y porteros de los edificios cuidando. Dejamos la camioneta por el día y salimos a recorrer en Uber o Bici (Itaú Bike). Por la noche es muy tranquilo, en el día hay más movimiento. Esta junto a un puerto, nos dieron agua para el tanque (con pocas ganas)
