I would say, without a stronger 4x4, here should/could be the end of what is drivable with a weaker 4x4. Up to here, we did it with our Sprinter 4x4 without problems, but going further would have caused us to climb the dunes even higher as we already did.
The sand is very soft here. And here and there it's getting pretty steep. Without 4x4 this place isn't accessible.
Expect lots of sand storm.
