.....
The way up here is spectacular/epic, but here and there very steep... we estimate 25-32% grade and maybe even more. It's also very narrow sometimes, with quite a few needle curves.
You'll need to drive through some small villages until you reach the dead end, where probably 4-6 cars will fit.
No way for bigger rigs to go until here, even though a 4x4 isn't really needed.
We barely made it up here with our Sprinter 4x4 (1st.gear) and it took us approximately half an hour. If we had been forced to stop, we wouldn't have made it!
Locals are very friendly, staying for the night hasn't been a problem.
To get to the Wadi, there are 2 ways, one easy one, hundreds of stairs down (15-20 mins), the other way is through the jungle (30 mins), but here you'll need a guide, as you can get easily lost here.
The Wadi itself has been worth the journey. Two beautiful pools, surrounded by lots of rocks and a small waterfall. Swimming here is no problem.

Latest Check-Ins

this is not a good place to camp. in the middle of a small village. only place for 4 cars, narrow streets and a lot of locals inspecting you. wadi tiwi is very narrow and not suitable for camping. better sleep outside the wadi at the beach.

Report Check-In

We wanted to sleep there but finally left again. Not a lot of space , in the middle of the village, no privacy at all, loads of tourists, and guides that want to come with you. Nonetheless, the drive was definitely worth it, beautiful Wadi and you can easily find the way by yourself

Report Check-In

Walk to the end of the village, there you will find a concrete “stairway to heaven”🎶😜.
