Description
Old historic leather maker where he raises his own cows for their hides and tans his own leather and also makes saddles. Has a small shop with belts, purses, shoes, koozies and will do custom orders if you have a couple of days to wait. His work is absolutely beautiful and quality, much prefer his detailed work than what you find in some of the tourist shops in town. We wish we had a few extra days to have a custom pouch made for our tablet. No English.
Directions to find: Right before you reach Miraflores and their welcome sign, on the left side on a small hill a white concrete building with metal roof and collections of cars and tires in front that looks like it's abandoned, but it's not. His shop is usually open around 10am and if he's not there he is tending his cows and will leave someone there that may speak some English.
