A rarity in California: a working water spigot that's easily accessible and not disgusting.
Located behind the air and water station on the right side of the Chevron building. can easily park in one of the spots with a full size van, and a 25-ft hose will reach the spigot.

had trouble buying gas, blocked and out of order pumps, though was able to get water
Report Check-InSpigot was unlocked but I bought some beer and asked the cashier anyway. He said “yes of course” and was very friendly. Please buy something if you can and ask inside so they will keep allowing us to fill up!! Some sketchy characters around this gas station also.
Report Check-InThe spigot was locked when we arrived, but we merely had to ask and they unlocked it for us. We treated ourselves to some ice cream from the store to repay the kindness.
