Description

Translation: Its boardwalk and docks are very picturesque. It is a very small town. Some afternoons there is live marimba. People are very friendly and looking to chat. The weather is hot during the day but generally cool at night. The water is earth-colored and you can swim in few places. It is possible to embark and get to know the streams that are full of beautiful birds and you can see some crocodiles diving. The sunsets on the pier are exceptional. It is a paradise if you have the capacity for enjoyment. We slept with the doors of the Camper open next to the lagoon and nobody and nothing has bothered us for a week. The police came just to greet us and tell us local stories. I wish they could come and enjoy how simple and harmonious this place is. Perfect to relax. If you have a hammock, it can even be placed on top of the dock. Other travelers pitched tents under the roof of the pier and at the end of the road without being bothered by anyone. There is very short grass between the lagoon and the houses to walk with puppies or with the family. Honey, I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Latest Check-Ins

Meh. We didn’t catched much sleep. When we arrived nobody was parking at the dock so we parked our VW van in the right corner. The surface isn’t flat at all. Young people were chilling next to us till midnight with music and loud conversations but I mean that’s fine you can just use earplugs. But from 8pm to 4am around 20 cars came to the dock and turned around right there pointing at us (sometimes for minutes) with their head lights. They did nothing else, just come and turn around, the police did the same but with loud and aggressive engine howling.
Around 5am fishermen came and used the ramp for their boats, nothing bad but very loud, since the dock is pretty small.

The small village seemed nice though.
Maybe you can sleep a little bit more parking next to the church just a few meters away.

Ok for 1 night. We were two vans parked right in front of the malecon. Some people with music were here at night but they left around 9pm. Mostly quiet at night. There is space for only 2 cans though then it’s for the boat launch

Report Check-In

Spent the night here after visiting the ruins. This is a very quiet little town. Walked around the malecon and boat launch area and enjoyed the quiet night.

We did not park in this exact spot as the parking area was full of boat trailers and trucks. We parked in front of the church right by here.
