Description

Free BLM campground about 2.5 mi down a nicely graded gravel/dirt road. 12 sites with a fire grate and picnic table. Most aren't very big or level, but there were two larger pull-behind trailers in the end spots. One pit toilet that was fairly clean and stocked with TP, and a few trash cans throughout but no potable water (though there is a tiny stream next to the CG). Supposedly they ask for donations but there wasn't any mention of it on the sign and no donation envelopes. It was about half full on a Saturday night, though many of the spaces aren't far apart so it would feel really busy if it was any more full. There were a couple pull-offs right on the road a few miles past the CG but not much else in the way of boondocking that we saw nearby. No signal on TMobile or Google Fi.

Lovely site. Nice walking up hillsides. The road goes on for 22 miles so one could walk it, too. I noticed the sign said there is an annual tribal gathering but it doesn't say when.

great little campsite about 3 miles from the Hwy. About 10 camp sites with one big enough for our 25 ft RV pulling a Jeep . had to disconnect to back it in but . Nice toilet . Super quiet! Great setting.
