Description

6 charming rooms available (2 in individual cabañas) and camping space available at the entrance of the land. The owners Virma and Miguel as well as their kids are amazingly friendly. We arrived 2 nights ago as I write and will end up staying 2 weeks.
Camping is 100 pesos per person. Bathroom by the pool (small and cute).
Can come to eat only at lunch time.
Road to the villa is asphalt. Steep leaving Xilitla, slow slope for the rest of the road.
Surrounded by nature and views of the mountains on the road.
Will update as we stay.

We chatted on WhatsApp and asked about camping. The price quoted on WhatsApp was $70, on site it became $100. No clear explanation was given why.

Overall a rather cold welcome. The pool was not usable and they were working on a palapa when we arrived making a lot of noise with an electric tool. I don't know why they feel that guests are looking forward to noise instead of relaxation. Toilets and showers are okay, but not great. Only cold showers. Toilets & showers could be better. Apart from this the place is well maintained.

Dogs, roosters, and a bit of music early in the morning. :)

Navigating through the city is a challenge. I won't do it again if I knew the traffic was so bad.

Beautiful area, but very humid and hot in June.

If you plan on visiting Las Pozas I don't think that this location is the best one.

Tis a beautiful spot. We drove our full size truck and slide in camper. it was challenging! you need to push wires up to get in to the driveway in front of the rooms. We drove in from San Antonio not Xilitla.
we rented room number 2 to have a shower and toilet. Slept in our camper. It's way cold and rainy in November. the rooms are cold with no heater. 500 MX/ night for a room.

We ended up staying in a room, fell in love with the place and the family.

Our dog was welcomed.
The rooms are spacious and well decorated, with nice murals.
Hot shower.
Wi-Fi wasn't great and this did not bother us, we enjoyed the nature, hiked by ourselves and with the family.

The family is incredibly nice and helpful.

The pool is a very nice plus with the heat of the jungle.

Miguel maintains his paintball jungle terrain with love, for your entertainment.

You can have lunch served by the pool.

A place not to miss, really...
