Grassed lot suitable for any size rig, small trees on perimeter, vault toilet, at entrance to the wild life area. Lovely location.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Great safe spot especially for a solo woman traveler for the night. I got in just before the sunset and there was a truck camper and fifth wheel here. Tons of space for many rigs and a great clean bathroom stocked with toilet paper and sanitizer
Report Check-InNice, large field to camp in. Just a little noise from the highway. Conveniently close to the highway and Sinclair station. Only 3 of us there and plenty of space.
Report Check-InTwo city water pumps along the roadside fence, in the corners. Well water pump up by the building. Camp host seemed unsure if that one was good to drink
Report Check-InOur second time staying here. A few RVs for the hunters that stay here for the hunting season, but still quiet and chill place. The camp host showed us where the water pumps are located. I'm adding a screenshot to the photos showing where they are at. Two city water pumps along the roadside fence line, and one well water pump up by the building.
Report Check-InHuge grass space, very good for one night. You do hear the highway, but unless you sleep in a tent, it's very quiet.
Many hunters sleeping here, arriving late and leaving early.
This will be my quick overnight spot when leaving Omaha late to head into Colorado. Well maintained level field w/ clean pit toilets. Few campers left here. Coyote pups off in the distance.
Report Check-InGreat open field to camp at! Only had 2 other cars here. Plenty of room for trailers and tents. Be aware of mosquitoes!!! Also a plus that their vault toilets are clean and they have water spigots here. The noise from highway is expected since you’re right next to it so bring ear plugs.
Report Check-InSpent an overnight here on the way to the Rockies. Was good for a quick place to pull off, pitch a tent and sleep. As mentioned the bugs are no joke. You won't spend much time outside your tent. There are bathrooms. Bugs were no too bad in the early morning but as the sun came up so did they. Still worth it for a quick overnight on the road. Plenty of space.
Report Check-InSoooo mannnyyyy buggggs. Nice place to pull off the interstate for some quiet sleep. You can hear traffic but there was hardly anyone else here. Came after a rainstorm, maybe wouldn't be so bad on other days in June but holy buckets wear long sleeves and pants and be prepared to be bombarded 😩
Report Check-InCool spot - just a big dirt lot. Lots of people in RVs, skoolies, cars, and a few tents. Quiet - we only stayed one day. Gas station right down the road! Good place to stop for one night
Report Check-InStayed for three nights. Clean “smoke tower toilet”
Hunting park in the back when u drive past the semi grassy semi sandy dirt lot (that you would be parking in to stay for Free)
Water available but has red handles so I believe it is Not Pottable.
Kinda close to the road but very quiet at nights.
I’d recommend if it is a big rig to park along the tree lines.
I’m a short school bus :)
what a hidden little gem!! so glad we stopped here! lots of room, 1 other camper here. walked down the dirt road a ways..
Report Check-InNice spot off i76. Grass parking area with a pit toilet in the middle. A number of campers/tents can fit in this area. Prairie views.
Report Check-InGreat spot for an overnight stay! Big dirt space with vault toilets. Was not busy at all. Close to the interstate. But far enough you don’t hear it. There’s also a gas station up the road, near the exit.
Report Check-InMore of a dirt lot now. But big area with plenty of room. Signs do say camping is allowed here, but not further into the park. Doesn't say anything about length of stay, but we just stayed for the night. Close ish to the highway, but we didn't get a lot of road noise. There were a lot of coyotes though, so if you have pets keep them in at night. We liked it, it was a nice spot
Report Check-InGrassed lot suitable for any size rig, small trees on perimeter, vault toilet, at entrance to the wild life area. Lovely location.
