crazy windy day, needed a shower so i stopped here. Found out it was actually $10 for shower alone, or $15 for a spot to camp and as many showers as u want during your stay. check out is 11am
Report Check-InThe showers are only open to the public from noon to 5 pm. They are closed for cleaning and Campground guests before that. I arrived at 8:45 AM and the attendant let me shower as a courtesy before she started cleaning which was very nice. The facilities were clean but the water started getting cold toward the end of my 10-minute shower.
Report Check-InIf you want peace and quiet go off road. At $55 per night for full hookups. Way too steep for having a neighbor 5 feet away.
Report Check-InRough and dusty road, but wide and very quiet. You can account the stars.
Report Check-InNice place, $15/per night though, not $10. Clean and well kept. Dishwashing stations, potable water, restroom building and porta potty’s scattered around the whole campground. Big sites.
Report Check-InFamily run campground with tent and RV sites. Man made fishing lake. Clean but dated bathrooms. Beautiful views of the mtns, and at night the valley twinkles to the south. At sunset there is a bat flight that congregates probably because of the lake insects. Lots of birds. If you're a member of a camping club (Good Sam's, Escapees) ask for a discount because you won't be asked if you're a member. Four stars out of five.
Report Check-InNice spot, large open area. It might look like you are driving in the movie "the hills have eyes" but once you get to lake bed you'll be happy.
Report Check-InNice place that’s not to far from J Tree. $10 for dry camping and $5 to fish in the lake. There are some pretty big bass in there which is cool. Clean facilities and free showers
Report Check-InQuite busy on this long weekend - all campgrounds in the park full - but still lots of room. The tent sites are all quite exposed but big enough - and at 10 USD including hot showers, good value.
Report Check-InGreat campground near Joshua Tree NP. Only 10 USD for tent camping. Superquiet at night, great for spotting the stars at night. Hot showers, flush and dry toilets, potable water, a little fishlake with fish and ducks. Benches and tables, firepits, a small store at the office.
Cons - a bit far from «everything» and a bit exposed to wind. No wifi but you can buy accsess from a third party provider, its a bit costly but works well.
