Very quiet forest track. Beware - the drive is difficult and will require 4x4 and maybe low range if over 3T. No big trucks and motor homes due to hairpin bends. Good 4G phone signal.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
At the time of my visit the track Was busy with large trucks from the quarry below. Also a lot of noise. But follow the road up towards the mountain top and after 450m turn sharp left into a big nice flat area under tall pine trees. I spend the night there. Dont leave an Thing outside as wild pigs roamed around at night.
Report Check-InAwesome place, we stayed here with our roof top tent just for the night, saw one hiker and two vans the whole evening and into the morning. Difficult to get to due to very steep switchback hairpin bends but once you get there it’s worth it! When you get to the top of the road take the dirt track and follow it round. (Anything much bigger than a hilux would struggle!)
