Description

Moderator Note: Overnight parking/camping is illegal here.
.....
It's a gravel parking lot with a nice view over looking the town of Truro. There's a trail that leads to the waterfall as well. This parking lot is another excess to Victoria Park. There's a washroom but it's closed for the season now in November. There's no sign for no overnight parking. Fairly dark and quiet at night. Although, a few vehicles pull in and out at night, maybe it's busier in the weekend but not nearly as busy as the main parking lot. Good place to spend a night with a view and nice hiking trail in the morning to walk the dog.

No overnight parking signs where installed but don’t look legit. About 10pm to men came around posing as city employees. I should have asked for ID but didn’t. We just moved on like several other. Went to Walmart

grand stationnement sur la gravelle on peut marcher jusqu'à une chute et se baigner par contre il y a une pancarte aucune tente ou camper , un employé de la ville est venue nous aviser et nous avons dû quitter.

I and a bunch of other campers were just kicked out by the Police at 10:15pm. Apparently the owner of the park (?!) complained. The police was kind and offered us to go to the WallMart parking.

Tonight we all got kicked out of this parking lot we were told no camping or overnight parking an application is being processed and signs will be going up.

We were 6 campers and a guy come and told us "he work for the city" and that no overnight is allowed. The night before he told 10 campers to leave. There is no sign saying no camping but he will put one shortly he said.

Great spot and popular tonight with 4 of us. Flush toilets and a view and sunset, awesome.

Petit stationnement. Plusieurs randonneurs y stationnent mais quand même tranquille.

This was a nice quiet place to spend the night. Far better than the sketchy Walmart downtown. There’s a trail leading down to a waterfall where some locals were swimming. It looked like an awesome place to cool off. There are a lot of deer in this area so best to keep pets leashed at all times. There wasn’t much traffic through this area because the park is at the end of a road. Garbage cans are located at the trail heads (in the bush a little ways) and bathrooms are open during park hours (posted).

great calm spot in the evening.
We stayed here for 1 night. It was very relaxed and calm.
