Beautiful place even to stay for some nights. Locals are coming and going. It's close to a roman ancient graveyard so some gold diggers may come late night to do their job here. Very sad for that. Anyway it's a safe and calm place

We struggled in this area to find a quiet place on a Friday night. Dibbeen Forest Reserve was chcck full of family picnickers and young partiers. We ended up here and spent a lovely quiet night, despite it being close to a village. Trailhead for a nice forested valley walk (3.5 miles each way) Our only company were some early morning hikers. 4G on Umniah.

Large flat esplanades, easy access, trees. This area is full of stones and holes in the ground. If you look closely you can see that many of the stones are ashlars and in the holes you can easily see the ancient human presence. Probably a necropolis.

Very quiet, no worries, very sunny but you can find shade without any problem if you want

We drove a bit further down into the forest (good tires needed because you need to drive through a stony area) and stayed there for multiple days. Very nice and quiet place. Enough shelter from the trees. Nobody around and enough clean spots to find!

Flat parking area next to a nice trail in an oak forest. We did not sleep here but it should not be any problem. Marked trail takes around 45 min.
