Description
iOverlander cannot verify if wild camping is permitted at this location. It is your responsibility to verify local laws or obtain consent before staying the night.
Right on the west bank of the Fraser River on the east end of McBride. Large parking lot, ample space for any sized vehicle. 3 Pit toilets, gazebo with picnic tables, grassy area for leashed pets. Some highway noise, but due to the reduced speed limit entering town the noise isn't significant. Lots of signs with information about the area. I looked far and wide and could not see any signs indicating no overnight parking/camping.

Still good in 2023. It is a local park's parking lot so best to keep traffic to the spot low and be respectful or I can imagine them quickly putting up no overnight signs here.
Report Check-InGood location for overnight parking, even in winter park is cleared from snow and accessible by any vehicle.

Great quiet, private spot with toilets. What more could you ask for. Put Phil & Jennie Gaglardi Park into Google Maps if you’re having issues with coordinates.
Report Check-InNice stop for the night. We are in a van, another RV here and an 18 wheeler. Easy to find if you are west bound, there is a sign before town....east bound travelers simply stay on 16 until you see the sign! Mosquitoes are abundant.
Report Check-InNice location just off the highway - tenters and another van stayed overnight. Clean bathrooms and dog run area. Good for stopping to cook meals and for the night.
