Description
Very nice campground along the banks of the Guadalupe River. RV, tent and day use. Tent sites were $25. RV were $25-30. Reservations and walk ups. Nice swimming, fishing, boating and diving on the river. Boat rentals and great play areas for kids. Large butterfly garden. Free HOT showers (standard and handicap) & bathrooms in the RV section. A few trails. Part close to river is nice but there is road noise. Back section quieter also with a 3.5mi trail. The hot showers spray everywhere except on the person having the shower.

$25.00 a night to tent. Excellent place. Beautiful walks along the river. The area is teaming with wildlife. I have a ton of nice things to say about this place and it’s staff. I only have one complaint, the bathrooms/showers. A little elbow work on the cleaning . The shower seats are unacceptable and the dirt ring around the inside needs scrubbing. The other thing is the showers. They spray nice hot water. Except the head needs replaced as they get everything wet except the person taking the shower. The outside is exceptionally maintained and the employees are great. This is a great place to unwind. I love the versatility of the park. Cabins on the river, lots of tent and RV spots. Trash canisters appropriately placed. I spent 3 nights here. If I pass this way again, it will be for a stay.

Report Check-InRV and tent sites. Advise you call & reserve. We drove in arriving in Jan and they only had 2 sites available. Full service rv sites. Showers hot and clean. Not have from I 10.
Report Check-InNice big campground. We pay 15 for a tent spot (we sleep in our VW bus). That price includes up to 4 persons and 2 cars.
Wifi at reception building. Pet friendly but leashed. Great showers and bathrooms. Highly recommend.
