Description

Pendleton Adventure Trails Recreation Area parking lot. Large gravel lot with some flat space. Quiet with a nice view over the valley. We camped for one night and did not see any other people. Picnic tables and a pit toilet. Sign noted a community bike ride on Wednesday evenings during summer months, so might be busier on those days. 4 Bars for internet.

definitely different experience than most. Dog walkers and hikers both late at night (10pm) and first thing in the morning (6:30am) and then 4 more cars in before 8am. I would personally rather be in a place I expect to busy than one I don't expect and have cars come in even in low numbers. The gravel parking lot makes it very loud when someone pulls in. I was thinking about moving to the Indian casino (15 min away) when the dog walker showed up late at night and startled me. I wish I had. packing up tired at 8am and heading out. Definitely would not stay here again.

Awesome spot! One other rig stayed the night, absolutely quiet with a stunning sunset.

Very quiet and convenient. Beautiful views in the evening, and the sunset was lovely. We parked near the entrance to avoid the morning mountain bikers, but they were quiet too.

Report Check-In

Quiet night. We rolled in after dark and found a level spot quickly. Got woken up but a helicopter early in the morning since it’s next to an airport.

It looks like a ton of mountain bike trail. Dogs on/off leash are permitted on the trails.

I walked my dog around the lot instead of the trail and without crossing the street got notified I was trespassing by a speaker from the buildings. I think that was due to my proximity to the buildings more than anything.

Huge lot. Awesome views. Porta potty is clean. Really quiet at night. Can be very windy. Good cell reception.

quaint empty gravel lot with a picnic table and Portapotty and even a small grill. helicopters constantly but otherwise peaceful. great view. drove in with a shuttle bus skoolie and it was a little rough (big rocky gravel) but worth it for the serenity.

Pulled in for overnight stay with sprinter van. It’s just past the airport and the radisson hotel on the left. Semi flat gravel lot, but no need for 4wd. Porta potty on site, pretty clean. View over valley nice to wake up to. Exposed could get windy but was not for us.

Big open lot gravel some level areas some not. Quiet really no road noise or noise at all after dark. Didn’t see any signs spent the night with another van but any size can fit. Has a portapotty and great att signal

Big gravel lot with amazing views, high above Pendleton. Portapotty and picnic tables. We spent one night and loved the views.

Nice spot for a night. Pulled in after dark, was easy to find, nice and level. No one was here and there was a BBQ, picnic table, and porta potty. Dogs are permitted on or off leash. Quiet, safe, and beautiful views to wake up too.

great stop for any size rig. nice breeze when it's 88 degrees at 6:30 pm. great Vista of the hills around Pendleton. quiet, and you'll hear the owls!

Great overnight spot. Rolled in on a Saturday evening and we were the only ones all night. A couple people used the trail. Extremely easy to get level and blazing Verizon cell service.

We pulled in after dark and it was hard to see but we noticed the flat gravel parking area. We were the only ones when we parked but by morning there were a few others. In the morning u can see the parking area actually has 3 different levels. We were able to get level no problem. Its a very level parking area just 4 miles from the highway. Its a beautiful spot to park for the night.

Two other road trippers were there the night I stayed. Quiet and felt safe. Overlooks the valley below.
Didn't see any signs in lot or during the approach to the lot that prohibited overnights. Perfect for a night if you're passing through the area.

Great spot off the highway away from most of the noise. I was the only one here and arrived after dark. No knocks, no “no overnight” signs.” Better than a truck stop or rest area. Miles and miles of Mountain bike trails here.
