After a 9h30m of boring drive from Kigoma we came to check the other wild camping spot on iOverlander and ended up in a large track that follows the power lines (They are still under construction as there are no lines yet.) We could actually camp anywhere on that track but here it had a nice sunset view over Rwanda mountains and good internet connection with Vodacom. Not easy to find a flat spot for our rooftop tent though. Could slightly hear the road from very far but we had a very peaceful night. No one ever came around.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Not easy to get to now, tbere has been a big fire and a bulldozer has climbed the last part and wrecked the track, see other lication nearer tbe Road.
