we normally stay here with our trailer but i stayed solo last night in my suv on a monday night. saw someone biking around in circles in the parking lot around 230am… went back to bed. in the morning there was a cop car by another overlander, i asked what was going on. apparently they locked their nice mountain bikes to a pole and they were stolen just a few feet away from their rig. there were about 20 other overlanders sleeping in the parking lot.

Sooooo quiet, and very clean site. Easy to get in/out.

Perfect spot to stay couple of nights, 10 min drive from Ottawa's downtown or 7km walk along bike path. some consteuction taking place at the moment, generator noise on occasion.

Stayed in 27 ft motorhome towing a jeep. Pros: Safe, close to Ottowa, very nice area with grass and lake and bike/walking paths. Cons: Very active area. Basically a heavily used parking lot, construction site. Many RV’s such that all the places that looked OK to park were taken. Some RV’s clearly looked to be full time and ran generators all night. Fenced construction site very active starting a 7:00am with full time large generator and dump trucks coming in/out. Many day users. All and all, it did the job.

Nice big parking lot for an overnight- scoped it out for our big rig to see if we could get into the lot. All the RVs were parked to one side - there were quite a few at 9 pm on a Sunday night. Seems doable for our 75’ set up.

le stationnement est coupé du quart, ils ont mis des barricades pour entreposer du matériel et semblerait qu'ils vont mettre de la terre. Donc, il y a moins de place pour se stationner

Ce matin, une grande partie du stationnement était barricadé. Le responsable a avisé que ppur deux mois une grande section sera inaccessible en raison de rénovation de la piste cyclable et entreposage des rebus d'asphalte et autre!

Spent a quiet night here. Beautiful location, a lot of people paddle board here and by the time it got dark you could hear the paddle boards deflate. When we got here around 7, there were already 5 or 6 vans and motorhomes set up. Great spot close to Ottawa.

excellent spot with 15 other overlanders, some more permanent looking. we found a toilet on the walking path towards the casino in a building with a concrete patio in the front. looks like a municipal community building that would probably only be open during the day. half the lights were out in the parking lot but it still felt safe.will come here again.

I spent one quiet night with lots of other RV campers, it was safe. But know that in the evening you can have drunk people in their twenties playing loud music and showing off their very noisy car mufflers. Also, there was a triathlon planned in the morning, the park was extremely busy, people had problem parking. I was lucky to be able to rearback of my parking spot with my caravan towed by my SUV.

Nous avons passé deux nuits sur ce parking. Très calme la nuit, il y a un centre de location de paddle avec accès aux toilettes. Le lieu est très sympa avec vue sur le lac. Idéalement situé pour aller visiter Ottawa.

Superbe endroit pour passer la nuit, dans un grand stationnement pavé et face à un petit lac. Très tranquille et sécuritaire. Plusieurs activités sportives possibles, paddle board, kayaking, vélo, rando, natation. Resto avec terrasse a quelques mètres de là était malheureusement fermé mais semble avoir une belle sélection de repas et bières.

Great place to spend the night, in a large paved parking lot and facing a small lake. Very quiet and safe. Several sports activities possible, paddle boarding, kayaking, cycling, hiking, swimming. Restaurant with terrace a few meters away was unfortunately closed but seems to have a nice selection of meals and beers.

Super spot, very relaxed. Many other campers also stayed the night. Be sure not to park on the other side of the lake, overnight parking is forbidden there.
