This is a site further up Walden resevoir and further away from people/town. Nothing here except sagebrush and 360° views. Not quite level, but easily fixed with a few levelers.
Check your satellite view to see the roads here. The shortest route from the main road (15/15b) was pretty rutted but fine with careful driving. The longer route (leaving 15 further to the south) was a better road.
This whole area is BLM so check out all the other spots on your way here. Plenty of room, plenty of views.
No bugs when I was here but it was still chilly. Good Verizon coverage.

Way too buggy for meat this time of a year. There are a lot of pull outs before this spot too and dirt road seems pretty good even for bigger trucks. It’s stills a great spot to watch the sunset though! I turned around and stayed in town near the high school. Pretty quite street, tables+benches and toilets in the little park nearby
