Description

National Forest land. Drive up the hill. At the top of a very well maintained dirt road. Flat area with numerous spots for dispersed camping. No amenities. Tiny ATT signal. Really beautiful spot, grassy, pine trees. No fires allowed.

nice sites, busy road as people live on parts of it. not a ton of privacy compared to other dispersed camping locations.

Relatively flat. Lots of cow pies. Lots of big rigs, campers, generators going. Sites are trashed.

At least 6 greats spots for dispersed camping. I see large 5th wheel campers, RVs, and people tent camping. Some spots in light tree cover and a couple without any cover. Even the tree cover spots great for solar and satellite internet (Starlink). I got here late afternoon on a Sunday and half the spots were open but buy night all spots filled up and I let a guy in a car slide in next to me. The road gets light traffic as there are some residence and things back further. Great views. Verizon was meh. 2 bars at best, but was able to work and do Teams calls. Near Custer SD for food and resources and a bit farther is Custer State Park.

Seems to be a popular area with several spots near each other. Easy access, road is narrow but in good condition. There were some people on horseback going down the road so watch your speed. Decent Verizon & TMobile.
