RV and campground. Some nice sites right on the river, pretty clean flushing toilets and showers with hot water. Potable water and garbage/recycling bins also. $25/night for Campervan with no hook-up (advertised $22 on their website but still cheap). Good location for Duncan totem poles.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
A lot of full timers living here. Showers were okay - only lasted 15 seconds each push but were hot
Report Check-InTurned up late and the office was closed. Asked a fellow camper and they said the website is called campspot.com. Was really quick and easy and cost $26 for a van, you pick your site based on what’s free. Make sure you book! The ranger came a knocking because ours hadn’t gone through on their system and he seemed very persistent. Much nicer than we expected next to a river and the showers were a free luxury!
Report Check-InAn awesome place to camp when you're on a low budget. Free, good Wifi and clean washrooms with Free Showers (!)
A year ago the campsite changed owners. And for the better! Only $25 for one night. Staying here two nights. Would visit again!
A few sites set aside for short term RVers. Clean basic bathrooms. $30/night includes electricity and water. Dump stn available. It is called Duncan RV
Report Check-InStayed here a few days as it seems to be the only real option in Duncan. I will say it is a trailer park that is a majority long term residents but for $25 a night (unserviced) with hot unlimited showers and Wi-Fi at no additional cost you can’t really beat it. I wouldn’t call this a destination camp by any means but if your traveling full time then at least this is a safe and legal place to camp if you’d like to explore Duncan. As is typical for a trailer park there are some weird things hanging around, like a boat and an excavator, but the short term area is clean and separated from the permanent residencies. The host was super friendly and didn’t seem to have any problems with me staying while camping out of my truck with a topper. Good cell service. Washrooms are outdated and not perfect but could be worse. I’d recommend calling ahead as the host doesn’t seem to have strict hours when she’s on site.
Report Check-InDid not stay, drove through to use sani dump. $10.00 for unregistered guests. Additional fee for potable water.
Campground is mainly permanent campers, some old trailers there. Grounds need some loving care and upkeep.
There is another park in town, just down the road Duncan RV (not in the iOverlander system), though I am not sure how the prices compare. Duncan RV charge $15.00 to use the dump station, if unregistered.
Report Check-InOffice is open till 4:30 we arrived at 5:00 couldn’t find anyone to help us ‘check in’ appears to be a place with mostly permanent renters. Washrooms locked no water turned on a water locations. Not pleasant. Didn’t stay.
Report Check-InI arrived the place with my bicycle and tent. The Lady said it's not possible to stay on the place with a tent because she have no shower rooms.
