United States
Free campground on the southern end of Red Bluff Reservoir. 3 days max. No water or hookups. There are porta-potties, though the Texas Parks & Wildlife website indicates that might not always be the case.
A few bumps in the road, but you could fit any kind of rig in here.
There are several covered picnic areas with fire rings and 55-gallon drum trash cans.

4 picnic shelters but room for lots of campers. Beautiful view of the lake.
Report Check-InTake road 448 or 450 off of 285. road 447 is closed. nothing indicated this area was closed and I was able to find a great flat spot with picnic table and grill right next to the lake. I am posting photos of exactly where I parked. this is a very odd place but it is listed on the Texas fish and wildlife website and it does say 3 day camping permitted. many signs indicate that often people go where they should not be going. the area is clearly marked ! follow signs. do not try to go road 447. there is no bridge there.
Report Check-Inforced to plop down not quite in the right spot (flat tire, it was very late and very dark) but definitely got away with it. great for en route to white sands area from TX.
Report Check-InArrived at night and the gate was closed. I’m not sure if it is still open or not. Was not able to access the lake or camp grounds.
Report Check-InThis is about as good as it gets in oil drilling country. Quiet, a few miles off the highway, and near a reservoir.
Report Check-InA free campsite on the southern end of Red Bluff Resevoir. 3 days max, I believe. No water or hookups. There are porta potties, though the Texas Parks & Wildlife website indicates that might not always be the case.
A few bumps in the road, but you could really fit any kind of rig in here.
