Looks like very good and quiet place for night. We didn't stay, because the park was closed during weekend quarantine and the ranger stayed all the time at entrance.
There is a sign saying for sale at the entrance.
The best spot around here to stay, I think. A small path leads in the forest, 200 meters from the road, you are hidden by the trees. Accessible without 4WD.
It did not seem used for quiet some time. Some old fire pit. We spend two nights there and saw no one (It looks like this parcel is for sell). The river is less than 2km from here if you need water. Very quiet.
We believe this is the best place to wildcamp around the national park. Close to the park entrance. There are two flat spaces in this area, we spent two nights here and nobody showed up. Very quiet and plenty of firewood. Very cold at night. Big rigs may have problems to fit in, we have a Tacoma with rooftop tent and we were able to fit with an other suv with no problem.
Report Check-InRoadconditions: Road to Conaripe is good gravel except part through the Villarica NP is 4x4 because of deep washouts and mud. Could be imposible after rain even in 4x4. From the north, the gate into the NP was open, no ranger here.
Report Check-InThis is private property. The owners arrived when we were there and we talked together. They live in a tent a little bit further up the track and they will build some cabañas to rent. They said it is ok, if we stay for one or two nights. Please ask them, before you set up your camp.
Report Check-InIts a nice meadow at the end of a small track. We met the owers here, Claudia and Marcelo are very nice and we spend a nice evening at the campfire. They live at the coast and plan to build a few cabanas near this place, but meanwhile you are welcome to camp here, as long as you respect the nature (something every overlander does we assured them).
