I parked right in the big parking area for Black Rock hot springs. The road going down is closed, so you can’t go any further than the parking area. It is a beaaaautiful spot. One other car camper was there with me that night. Super quiet, no traffic, about a 20 minute walk down to the spring (and 30 minutes to the river). Although it was wide open, it feels super private because not many people come up there. 1-2 bars of service every once in a while. Enough to send/receive texts sometimes.

lots of little pull offs, each seem to be big enough for a bigger rig to be able to turn around. stunning views, great hiking pretty far removed so is peaceful
Report Check-InI planned to stay here but found the entry road so beat up, I turned back. Perhaps it was just the entry, but I was not willing to gamble. wouldn't try this in anything less than an off-road vehicle.
Report Check-InRoom for several rigs. Other sites clearly visible so less private. Expect turn around traffic here since the road is closed. Indisputable best views. Strong signal with AT&T.
Report Check-In4.7 miles from Highway 64. Large parking lot on edge of gorge. Drove by several other sites on way in with mix of trailers, vans and pick up campers. Stayed 4 nights. 40 foot 5th wheel. Awesome views. 20 minute hike to hot springs. Will definitely stay here again if back in the area.
Report Check-InLarge open parking lot with some slope. Easy road in from the west, but about 4.7 miles to the site. 40 foot 5th wheel. Great views and very quiet.
Report Check-InLots of room and level spaces. The road was a little rough getting in but no big deal. Great views and a short hike to the hot springs!
