Beautiful wild camping spot in the forest right next to Guadalajara. Nice view on the city and plenty of shade. The dirt road is a bit rough, doable with 2wd, some clearence helps. Not for big RVs. There is a "no pase" sign on one of the 2 entrances of the road, we asked a local and he said it's fine to drive here. The road keeps going and there are also other spots further into the forest.

Do not use Google maps to navigate to this spot. It took us on some random off-roads then tried to have us drive straight through a river?? we gave up and went to ajijic instead.
Report Check-InAccess road is not so easy, I would not recommend it without 4x4. Very isolated. Once at the corner at the top of the track, you may either stay there, clmb to the signal (50 m on the right, possible with 4x4) or continue 80 m past the first spot to find another flat space with a view,
