We got our car insurance with Ibrahim.

The moment you have the passavant from Banyo he can do and „activate“ the insurance.

Contact him via WhatsApp send all documents and pay the money online (e.g. mobile money). Then he sends you photos of the insurance papers: contract, yellow card, pink card

When you finally get to Foumban you pick up the original documents.

We paid 22.150 FCFA for our Jepp Wrangler Essence for two months insurance.

The insurance is valid in several countries like republic of Congo, Gabon etc.

for our Toyota Landcruiser J9 it was 34.000 CFA for category 2 or 27.000 CFA for category 1, which you can make as a tourist by signing that you choose cat 1 because you are a tourist.
it's another price when you have more horsepower.

Ibrahim does all kinds of insurances and you can negotiate the price, we got the pink, yellow card and the contract for our defender for 27000 cfa 2 months, he asked first for 34k but we negotiate the price down to 27k.

Only does the pink card insurance but worked out well, just shy of 35,000 CFA for our 2007 Hilux. Chap didn't speak much English but very friendly

For us also 32,000 for 2 months/ 59,000 for four months. We drive a 4x4 Land Cruiser.
