Description

Very large park with lots of trees and shade. There is a barrier at the entrance and you have to pay 100,000 rials. 200,000 rials for big vehicles. There are plenty of places to park among the trees. Also places for big vehicles. During the week it is very quiet. We imagine that Thursday night and Friday must be very busy. There is a small lake with boats. There are clean toilets with water. We haven't seen fountains to fill tanks but we have filled them in the toilet faucet

First night we got here it was Thursday, so start of the weekend. We drove to the southeast end of the park and parked between the trees. Was super quiet and calm. Paid only 200.000 rial (€0,40).

Then we came back on Friday, was a lot busier, especially at the front of the park. We drove all the way to the back again where it was much quieter. Could still hear the loud music in the distance but didn't bother us. Paid 200.00 rial again.

Ok place to spend a night. Even on Friday easy to find a spot in the forest. However, don't expect an idyllic park, you can hear the highway clearly. Very convenient when traveling to Persepolis, which is 40 minutes away. With our landcruiser we only had to pay 200.000 rial entrance fee (40 eurocents).

Nice place to camp near Shiraz, as said, there are clean toilets, water and plenty of space! I went by motorbike and they let me enter for free. Very quiet Wednesday night in November.

Report Check-In

Not possible from Persepolis, only from Shiraz. Not possible to cross the highway, we had to go straight to Shiraz.

We have been camping here multiple times in 2022 and 2023. Both times we really liked it here. It’s a really big park, in the front it can be a bit crowded/loud, but if you drive all the way to the back it is more like a forest with many trees and spots to choose. Good internet with Irancell.
In 2022 we pay 200.000, now we pay 500.000 rials. Fair price and you pay only on entry so stay as long as you want.

We went to Persepolis and slept here again. We paid the 200,000 rials again (no problem, it's less than € 1). Last night (Tuesday) there were more people. Some places having dinner with bonfires and a little loud music (not a problem for us). Before midnight the music stopped and the night was very quiet and this morning everything was very quiet as well. It is a very large park. We've found a fountain to fill water next to the park for exercise.
