Parking lot at Mt Benson trail system. they close the gate overnight, but no-one told me to move. just cannot drive away during the night. picnic tables and outhouse. sweet hike to the top of Mt. Benson and a little lake that you can swim in about 10 min walk

There’s a gravel shoulder big enough for one van just outside the gates where I stayed for the night unbothered. No overnighting in the parking lot but still a great place to hike and hang out. Has picnic tables and an outhouse. Gate is open 5am - 11 pm March 2 - Oct 31st and open 5am - 8pm Nov- Mar.
