Long dirt access road running adjacent to the highway. Looks like there are a few OHV trailheads so it might be a staging road.
Lots of pullouts along the side of the road, many big enough for RVs. A bit of road noise but it's dull enough that it turns into white noise.
MONSTER cell service on Google Fi/T-Mobile, even without a booster. The perfect overnight pulloff if you're traveling up 15.

Perfect little spot next to the freeway if you’re just passing through. I pulled in as it was getting dark and will leave in the morning - I wouldn’t want to stay here longer than that given the noise of the freeway - but it’s not horrible. The turnout I found was a little loop just off the dirt road. It was pretty rutted out on one end so you might need some clearance - and the dirt was soft so just take care you don’t get stuck. I’m in a rear wheel drive campervan and had no problems although I was attentive to it. The views are pretty at sunset! Alpine glow on the hills. Feels pretty safe too.
