Lots of RV’s, Campers, some might be longer term than typical 72hr, friendly group, no problems with authorities here & felt safe for a few nights stay, might stay again soon for longer. No bathrooms, close eateries across street, groceries, fast food, freeways, nearly perfect for traveling on budget with contained rig. Even San Diego City Offices down the street. Needs restrooms with showers & it would be a frequent for us!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We were here for two nights and enjoyed it! It’s almost impossible to car camp in San Diego, so we were happy about this place. Noise from the road of Corse, but it didn’t bother us. Grocery store, laundromat, water station and other shops / bars nearby. :)
Report Check-InPark and ride lot, pretty empty on a Friday night. Yes, it's right next to the freeway, but the noise wasn't that bad considering. Extremely good Verizon signal, among the highest 5G download speed I've seen anywhere.
Report Check-InDefinitely NOT quiet! You're next to a busy freeway with nothing blocking the sightline or noise. Walmarts are much quieter. But decent spot besides the noise.
Report Check-InThe Park and ride is at:

The GPS marked is a different parking lot next to a Firestone.
I have submitted a correction for the GPS coords.
Spend a night here. Was not disturbed.
Report Check-InIt's the parking lot next to the Firestone and shut down Taco Bell. Fairly quiet, pretty bright lighting, a family bathroom in the gas station nearby. I had no issues, seems there were a few other regular vehicles parked overnight to get repairs in the morning.
Report Check-InThe original pinned location was very incorrect. Thank goodness they posted a pic of the map! Double check that the pinned location is actually correct!
