Description

Finding this area was a happy accident! The sign at the front of this road indicates that camping is permitted after 3.3 miles. The dirt road seems well maintained and easy for any vehicle. This area is 0.1 miles further than the other location marked on this app. That area has one large spot right beside the road for any size vehicle; however, all the other spots there are small, not level and probably require at least high clearance. These coordinates are accessible to anyone. This is a large open area with about 10 fire rings spread around and there are more sites further back this side road. A handful of trucks and ATVs on the road each day and only a few other campers, none anywhere near me, even on the weekend! There is a sign here indicating that you must have a toilet. Had some cow visitors the first night. About 40 minutes to Arches. Great views. 3 bars with Verizon, no service on TMobile.
