Something not right?

Description

Another pull off on Casitas Pass Rd with an incredible view. Right off the road so your standard road noise applies but nothing unbearable.

Flat, rather large and can accommodate multiple big rigs.

I don't see any no parking signs only a littering fine sign.

as described, literally just a pull off on the side of the road overlooking the lake. nothing special but good for one night. not private, got service on both Verizon and tmobile. good view of the lake, it was foggy when we stayed but probably a good sunset/sunrise spot.

lovely spot. a little road noise but nice

Report Check-In

Nice view of lake. Flat. Quiet enough. Road pull-off. No where to wander.

Easy pull out at the top of the hill - flat and wide to accommodate big rigs

Report Check-In

The road up was mostly fine considering all the rain and flood warnings, but I don’t know if that was just luck (and workers keeping things clear). Rain and fog so didn’t see the view until the morning - but it was beautiful. I was a little worried about the surface of the pullout being muddy but it’s wasn’t - mostly gravel so I didn’t have to worry about getting stuck. Cars started coming by early in the morning. A cop passed me in the morning and I wasn’t bothered (though he was likely headed to a truck that crashed off the side of the road which I saw on my drive down). I prefer these more remote spots than street parking - unfortunate that so many areas (Forests and trails) have been closed lately.
