The campground in the National Park is open again since one week, after closing for a while, during the Covid pandemic. We stayed here 2 nights. Toilets and showers are not well maintained at the moment, maybe because of the long period of closure. Otherwise nice place to stay. Not easy to find a level spot, if you want to park in the sun, but we managed. Shady places no problem. Above the entrance fee, for camping we had to pay 20.000 PYG per night.

We stayed here one night in the weekend, there were some people during the day but we were the only one camping.
The camping is nice, with few tables and fire pits, not many flat spots but we didn't mind, there is lots of shade. The bathrooms could be nicer, the showers barely work.
You can take a swim in the waterfall next to the campspot which is amazing on a hot day!
We paid 20000 each for the entrance of the park, 20000 in total for camping (the ranger decided to count one tent instead of two people and we didn't complain) and 5000 for each motorbike.
Great trails to see birds, butterflies, streams and waterfalls. Don't miss a viewpoint over the beautiful forest (the trail starts opposite to the campground or ask ranger for details). The only problem is that parking is a away from the best shady and flat spots for a ground tents. So you have to walk a lot! We have spent three nights and we were alone during the night! Obviously it is more people and noise from Friday afternoon till Monday. Also note that when you enter the campground and go to the right you will find a spring with super clean and tasty drinking water.
