Description

A few dirt roads off rt 89 with wonderful camping opportunities, spectacular views of snow covered peaks, beautiful trees, and wildflowers. Rough and bumpy dirt road but doable in 2wd van, tight space so only good for van or tent. No cell services or facilities. One of the most peaceful and beautiful places I have found.

Latest Check-Ins

Arrived late at night and the road looked really bumpy with large rocks in-between. didn't feel comfortable driving the promaster over it so we found a flat spot close to the road. the road didn't look that bad in daylight so could have made it.
not much noise from the road.

Report Check-In

Between Markleeville and Topaz Lake. Remote woods camping. No facilities. Cool large tree looks to be hit with lightning a long time ago. 8400ft elevation. Has some flies. Zoe seems to really like this spot. Rough road. Took T@G XL Boondock just fine.
