Texaco gas station | Informal Campsite

Spent our first night in El Salvador here.
They have semi parking at the back that can fit any size rig and theres a friendly guard on duty.
The lights also have outlets at the bottom for a little electricity 👍

Surprisingly quiet night for a gas station.

Perfect place to spent one night for free on a clean and well organized Gas Station. We asked the guard if we could sleep in the parkinglot (small, not many trucks here). And he said yes and showed us the clean bathrooms with water, paper and soap. He also showed us were we can get water and even electric to plug in for the van! (Directly in the corner from the parkinglot). Everyone really nice and friendly. There is also a small shop and a fast food restaurant.

Friendly people. We could stay for free on the parking lot. It’s guarded 24h/24h so very safe.
There are some nice toilet. No shower. We saw a tap to fill up the water tank, maybe just ask for permission.

Esta es una gasolinera amplia con parqueo en la parte de atrás, es gratis, tiene agua y servicios sanitarios. Al principio dijeron que no era permitido quedarse, pero como nosotros pedimos permiso entonces que sí podíamos. Hoy nos contaron que otros viajeros se han quedado aquí.

This is a big gas station with parking in the back. It has restrooms, water and it’s free. At the beginning they said it wasn’t allowed to stay for the night, but as we asked for permission the would allow it. Today morning another safety guard told us that more travelers have stayed in the past.
