Free camping by the lake. There are many sites to pick. They are mainly for day time use I suppose. I arrived after 9pm, there was a gate at the entrance but no one disturbed me at night after 11pm when the park closed, so I guess it's not closed. It's super dark and quiet at night. I had a good night sleep here. There are several pit toilets around. A nice trail by the lake that's connected to St Magaret trail. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. If you do stay here, please keep it tidy, quiet, and respectful so this place can be kept open for overlanders.

slept there last night. nice and quiet untill the morning when in the not too far highway roared. but not bad... I think maybe the no camping sign is for the parking lot at the entrance and that the other spots around the loop are okay for overnight...
Report Check-InBeautiful spot! It does say no camping but we car camped with no issues :) the lake was gorgeous
