Description

Very nice spots if you drive a little down the road... Google maps won't get you here. it's on a lake, but for some sites you have to walk a little to get to water... some sites have hidden hideaways, so make sure to check out each one... there are 3 branches off the road, about a dozen spots or more to choose from... no amenities, but some sites are big enough to pull a small travel trailer into... no atvs are allowed on road... very quiet and serene! A true gem! For agate hunters, the road is rich in agates!

This place is good to go. Plentiful spots to choose from. Quiet for the most part other than a person driving by here and there. After 9 there was no one. Id only recommend this area for straight vehicles or very small trailers. The spots aren't deep enough for trailers. As another reviewer posted, this is state land.

I believe I rmeember seeing signs saying state land, I found a few spots had fire rings near them the further you go, I stayed at a pull out further as many of the pullouts when you first turn in where taken. No cell service with verizon

dispersed camping. stayed 2 nights. quiet and serene. Sites are spread out for privacy. Campsites also have walking trails. Also have signs for horse and cross country skiing trails. Great place.

We stayed here 1 night in our van but got here pretty late. We couldn’t see much since it was dark already so for safety we stayed at a site that was closer to the road. In the morning we left and were able to see the rest of the area. There was a couple normal campers but unfortunately there was also 1 campsite that had around 5 cars/rvs and looked like they been living there awhile. The whole area was trashed that they had. We had a great night though because we found a site very far from them. Overall I’d say it’s decent but nothing special.
