Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We messaged and called ahead to La Elisa, but no answer - decided to try our luck at the gate just in case, but no one was there (the bell doesn’t look like it works at all). In the end we moved on.
It looks like a beautiful place to stay, but only come if you’ve already confirmed with them.
Report Check-InWe stayed two night although we planed one. But it's such a nice place, with love tended and with beautiful garden.
The owner is such a nice lady - welcomed us with coffee and coconut, you feel verry, welcome here! Enjoy!
We really loved this place. The woman owner (she owns it with her sisters) is so kind. It is a super calm place with a bunch of animals and the nicest dogs ever! Awesome place for kids with a play ground. Wifi is okay, shower is warm only if the pressure is very low (electric). She has a little store with beers, snacks and water. Not a ton of room for vehicles but TONS of space for tents. Also a short hike to the mirador on top of the hill. We would recommend this place! Paid 50k for one night for 2.
Report Check-InStopped in here around 5:30pm on a Sunday. Rang the bell at the gate several times but no one answered. Sent a message on Whatsapp that was read but never got a response so we moved on. Probably want to send a message ahead of time to see if they are actually open. WhatsApp at +57 315 4707858
Report Check-InKind of in the fence about this place.
Dora-Lucia was mentioned as the owner. I don’t think this person was around. The only person I saw appeared to be the groundsman. Had a very hard time communicating (my fault-little Spanish) but after a couple of try’s was able to get the Wi-Fi passcode. At 6:30am was awakened to birds ( great) and the sound of shoveling and hammering (not so great). Was really looking forward to a hot shower but it was lukewarm.
They now have two dogs. The German shepherd and a golden retriever. Both friendly and not an issue for my Labrador retriever.
A quiet nights sleep.
Report Check-InWe had a restful and quit night here. The owners are very nice and they have the biggest German Shepherd I have ever seen and he is the biggest baby. The view is beautiful and they have every farm animal imaginable. We paid 20'000 pppn for hot shower, coffee, picnic area and much more. We would have stayed longer if we weren't in a hurry.
Report Check-InStunning campground! If you’re in a tent, this place is heaven. There’s only room for a couple of vehicles to camp (one up higher, a few down below). The little paths are really pleasant and the mirador has a great view. I could see it being busy on the weekends, so maybe avoid then, but we were alone on a Monday.
The friendly family asked 30pp, we referenced that it was 20pp on here, and she was fine with that. She explained that the price needs to increase because of inflation is increasing her costs, so we ended up paying 50k for 2 people since it’s totally worth it.
We initially wanted to stay here for one night on our way to Tatacoa. Arriving at the campside, the owner was very kind and the place beautiful! They have many animals and you can see many birds there. The place feels very calm and relaxing, so we stayed another night. You can walk up the hill to the waterfall and viewpoints. Highly recommend!
