Mesa Verde N.P. | Water

Steep drive 4 miles up the mesa. 2 stations seperated by about 100 yrds. The 1st station dump was open, but the water was broken (disconnected hose, couldnt reach in the spring to fix it myself). The second station had both dump/tank wash and the fresh water working. Filled up water today.

there is water fill at both dump stations at the campground in park. if you have park pass go any time, if not go after like 5pm after the ranger leaves.
campground is close 3 nov to 14 may. I had to open cover to turn water valve to the faucet on get it to work.

tested water at 73 TDS and 7 grains per million hardness

water was super cold.

One spigot with threads , potable water next to a dump station as well.

There’s two water and dump stations here. Both have tank flush water and potable water.

Two ‘top loading’ hoses next two each other to fill water. We filled our tanks without having to remove them from the vehicle because the hoses stretch. No threads at the end of the hoses though. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.
