Just east of the other popular spot on this cliff, there’s really only spot for one van/smaller camper in the centre of the loop. Shorter road down to this spot (from the main road) compared to the other spot. 4x4 would be nice but we made it in our 2wd Transit. Definitely a bit sketchy but very rewarding with beautiful view of the canyon and privacy from the other spots. Decent cell reception as well. Stone fire pit.

there is absolutely no camping/overnighting in Snake Canyon. We got a knock this morning from a Ranger. This whole area is off limits.
Report Check-InBeautiful little spot. Looks like plenty of camping along the road in. 5G Verizon.
Report Check-InFabulous spot, epic cliff, epic view. Zero issues accessing with the fwd ProMaster.
Report Check-InNice spot! Private and a good view. Didn’t see a soul all day. And close to town which is a big plus.
Report Check-InGreat camping spot, works well with a van and the view in the morning was amazing! Very easy to get to aswell! Just watch out for the cliff
Report Check-InIt’s beautiful, but it is now closed to camping. Signs clearly mark park open Dawn to Dusk.
Report Check-InThe road is definitely a little rough to get here - I have 2wd and made it but 4wd is ideal.
Beautiful spot - cliffs are a little scary though. Good cell service too!
If you have a dog, there are a lot of foxtails
Report Check-InGreat spot. No problem getting in with a 2WD Sprinter. Another spot in the next loop east, may take a little more clearance to comfortably get to.
Report Check-InStill checks. Quiet night and great view to wake up to in the morning.
