Wild camping on a scenic river. Take a paved old highway from the newer highway and look for an easy dirt lane to a 2-camper site. walk the dirt road. it's 100 meters to the river. Medium clearance. Bring fishing gear and firewood.

Awesome lil spot right on the river, really easy to get level and I think you could fit some fairly large rigs here. I don’t get any cell coverage (Verizon) but the views are awesome and can’t beat being on the water. Road isn’t bad in late October.

Report Check-InThis spot is behind the Lieutenant Small Memorial on the old Alaska highway route. We parked near the memorial information sign and had no problems.
Report Check-InNice place for a lot of small RVs. No luck fishing… mosquitos were not bad right today
