This is a decent mechanics, but like all mechanics (worldwide) agree a price and argue if they don't stick to it.
They overhauled my front ball joints on Dodge Ram as they couldn't get the part. Worryingly after they aligned my wheels it pulled to the right. Had to test drive it 5 times each time getting significantly worse, until finally they got it right.
Its tucked away behind the high wall without a sign outside so it looks like a parqueo.

Update: got the parts and had thm replaced for under half what this guys charged me. If you do have to use them don't trust them to quote you a fair price without haggling.

The team is very nice. They replaced my two rear shock absorver since mine broke I dont know why.

100 soles for the service, since they had to buy some small things to make all good.

I have a Land Rover Defender and they certainly know what the were doing.

I love iOverlander and good mechanics. Driving south from the border (solo) and hoping to make progress through Peru and meet my wife in Bolivia..... and the clutch started slipping. Supercharged 2000 4Runner fully loaded it was going to happen sometime. I usually go to Toyota dealerships but having just got my oil, coolant and basics done in Northern Peru I wasn't impressed with the work or price. So hopped on iOverlander and found Baldera. Thanks to the previous visitors they certainly understand overlanders and called "maestro" to come back from lunch. Within 30 mins they were hard at work and the gearbox and driveshafts were out. Sourced a quality (Aisin) replacement for a very good price and fitted it the same day. Great guys who enjoy their job and work together as a team. Would recommend for Toyotas certainly but I am sure they can work well on most cars.

Nice owner, respects overlanders. Had them replace the rear suspension on our '98 4Runner and do alignment. He had some Toyota certificates on the wall. Reasonable price, good to negotiate it first.

They help us fix a Lan Cruiser, Toyota '71, in the beginning was just the radiator and water pump, eventually found out that the engine had to be repaired as well, Omar the owner/manager is very nice and knows well Toyotas
