Something not right?

Description

*Overnight camping is not permitted in parking area or on beach as per signage.
.....
Right when you drive in, there is a parking lot on the right. There are no "no parking", "no overnight parking" or "no camping" signs at this parking lot so it is a great place for anyone sleeping in their vehicle to stop for the night.
Not a place for anyone that would have to set up a tent.
I wouldn't recommend going in further as further down the road there is a 'no camping' sign on a tree.

Overall a great stay! Ocean view, beach access (even encourages driving your vehicle at the beach), porta-potty, garbage bins.

Latest Check-Ins

Was asked by locals to move along. No camping on beach or parking areas at either end of beach.

Stayed here for a night, was wonderful, shared the parking lot with a larger RV, we stayed in our vw camper.

We came back 2 days later and I’m assuming the owner of the house on the corner when you first turn in came over to us and told us we cannot camp in the parking lot. And pointed to sign that is very small down the road by the sand dunes . I think the sign is suggestive of camping on the beach or by the dunes as birds are known to nest in them.

If overnighting wasn’t wanted in the parking lot I think the province would put a sign in the parking lot area. Or over by the garbages and porter potty’s .

We were respectful and moved on.

Excellent spot. The beach is about 2.4 km long and on a nice day there are tons of cars parked right on the beach. We parked our Class B up in the little landing just above the beach. Had a great, quiet night (with just the sound of the waves) and a spectacular view in the morning. Recycling and waste containers nearby.

Nice spot extremely busy on a Friday afternoon… guessing it should clear out after 9….

Toilet pit. Next to shore. Right at the entrance toward Lahave Island.

Beautiful place near the beach. You can access the beach with your car but I wouldn’t park on the beach because of the rising tide. We were parked in the gravel parking lot and we slept well with the sound of the waves
