Beautiful first come first served campground with around 25 sites currently open. Run by the Bureau of Land Reclamation (federal land). Pit toilets (with toilet paper!) and gravel sites with fire rings. Tent camping for the night was $15 paid by card at the kiosk out front. Can easily walk down to the reservoir to paddle board/kayak etc.
This was an unexpected gem. Only downside was slightly noisy neighbors, but they quieted down once we talked to them. Beautiful stars and reservoir. Fairly close to Williams if you need to refill supplies.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Great place, came after a big storm earlier in the day on Saturday so I practically had the place to myself. Will likely be busy on nice weekends but all first come first serve. Some spots more level than others but plenty big enough for large rigs, tables and fire rings at all, and some with trees for hammock spots. Manager guy in white truck is nice, definitely cares about the property. Was able to get two nights for price of one by coming in after midnight, but that might be a fluke. Frisbee golf course and dumpsters also available. Will be back to paddle board
Report Check-InThis is closed for the winter. DONT stay in the day use area there’s this long haired old guy in a big white truck who chewed us out
