Small lake access site with room for a van or small bus to boondock. Public trash can and no other signage. A little road noise, otherwise quiet. No facilities. Parked without issue.

stayed here. pretty steep entrance, large tree roots to drive over, steep uneven hills to find a parking spot, have to get creative to get level spots. i’d encourage higher clearance vehicles with this spot, no overlanders in low clearance sedans or whatever. very busy road for a monday evening and tuesday morning. a couple vehicles pulled in but left overnight. definitely a wild camp spot, visible from the road. would only do again in a pinch. a couple pictures on here are unrecognizable for this spot. maybe it’s changed tons in recent years? lots of trash despite there being a garbage bin. would not stay here on a weekend night, very clearly a party spot given the trash.
Report Check-Indear carcass still here. spent a good night. great sunrise. close to the road, but very few cars.
Report Check-InQuiet little spot with decent signal (t-mobile). I had the whole place to myself. I arrived around midnight & left by 8am. I did hear voices a little before 8 but didn't see anyone. 👻 There was quite a bit of trash scattered and a deer carcass right beside the parking area that someone left. Hopefully ppl respect the space more in the future.
Report Check-InExcellent hideaway. 25ft max for easier turnaround. A bit steep going in. Some road noise, quiets down after rush hour. Locals use the area to fish day & night. So many lovely birds.
Report Check-InLovely little pond next to a big lake on the other side of the road (Jordan Lake). Quiet for the most part, a little bit of traffic noise but not too bad
Report Check-InLots of room to park and have privacy. There was another car that was there overnight but there was quite a distance between us. Another car showed up early morning but I was never bothered and never actually saw anyone else. No no-camping or private property signs
Report Check-Inverified with someone who uses the location frequently. this is State Recreation land and is frequently used by locals for fishing, hunting, and boondocking. tent camping is often done but officially not allowed. there is no fire pit so only portable fire pits are allowed for campfires
