Latest Check-Ins

Was there for several days and nights. Quite only midnight-6am, then cars are driving very fast and loud along the road. No „no overnight“ signs, many people there at night and a few cars at night.

Don’t sleep to close to the garbage cans. Deposit collectors rummage around in there at night and make noise.

nous avons dormi là 2 soirs avec notre camper van. c'était super, le cadre est incroyable, un peu bruyant le matin avec la route mais sinon hyper agréable !

Report Check-In

We slept hear over the labour day weekend, all campgrounds and RV Parks overladed…
Late afternoon was really busy, during the night almost no traffic.
NO signs for no overnight parking.
Not a perfect spot, but definitely good for a night.

Camped here last night, few other campers around. Police car drove by at 11.30pm and didn’t stop. I can’t see a sign that says no camping or parking and lots of locals were in their cars here sat on the beach until 12. Was amazing to fall asleep with the sound of the waves. Definitely worth the risk

Beautiful spot but should be listed as closed. Spent last night here only to find a bylaw officer had left a warning letter on my windshield threatening a $150 fine. This place is not Van friendly.

there is now a no overnight parking sign near the bathrooms, saw some RV parked on ocean boulevard on the side of the road before the beach starts

Everything that Samantha say it's true!! I'm a local living close and all years long they have car-camping or RV sleeping there.
Beautiful local beach especially at low tide!!

I recommend walking long the beach until you hit the next 2 beaches beside. It's pretty long walk on a Rocky beach - ( Royal Bay and Albert head)

Ocean road with parking lots for beach access. You can find fairly level parking perpendicular or adjacent to the beach. I'm here in a Tuesday and saw a handful of vans and one RV.

This is a nice spot in the city so keep your presence minimal.

Beautiful spot surrounded by ocean. This stretch of road has parking on the ocean side all along, at the SW end there is toilets opened 8am-8pm and running water for drinking.
Camped here one night plenty of other campers spread along the stretch also. Very popular spot at night, very busy along the whole beach until the sun went down, although you are parked on the side of the road but was very quiet between 10:30pm and 7am. Very nice falling asleep and waking up to the waves. Signs say no tent camping, fires or rigs on the sand. No “no overnight parking/camping” signs. Please respect this beautiful place as it’s clearly a local treasure.
