Beautiful spot on the water! We got this tip from a bartender at Dildo Brewing Co. The road is a bit rough getting in, but perfectly doable with care. Lots of open space to park at this rocky beach. Locals seem to like this place as an evening hangout - so be prepared for some ATV and pickup truck traffic before sunset. Otherwise gorgeous free beachfront boondocking.
Three bars of Bell cellular.

Keep it clean !!
Report Check-InNice spot right on the cove. There were 2 other camper vans. Lots of room for everyone.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot by the beach! Few spaces.
Locals were doing a fire on the beach, busy in the evening, but quiet at night.
Our favourite spot of the trip so far! Beautiful beach and sunset! Busy in the evening with locals but it’s quiet at night.
Report Check-InGreat spot. Made it in with 30' motorhome.
No rougher than most of the roads on this rock!
Really nice spot. Direct at the beach. Nights are quiet. No problem to drive there with our big rig (MAN, 18 t).
Report Check-InAs described by others. For us the day was sunny, warm and windy. Unfortunately no capelin or whales. Lots of atvs during the day, quiet at night.
Report Check-InPerfect spot. Made it down in the CRV fine. Lots of space for vans. Go in from the downtown area .
Report Check-InHighly recommend this spot. Absolutely breathtaking sunset and very quiet at night. Lots of room too and ATV trails around where you can walk your dog in the morning.
Report Check-InAs other have mentioned, Google doesn’t take you to the beach. You have to go from “downtown” Dildo and follow the directions others have mentioned below.
There were a few locals who stopped by on ATVs but it was quiet after 9pm.
The setting is beautiful and peaceful.
Highly recommend.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot, as described...road is rough but slowly and easily navigated in our SUV (Ford Edge). Best entrance is near the Dildo Dory Store/Restaurant.
Report Check-InDrove in with my 31' C class, not a problem just take your time. Beautiful spot on the beach, locals rode through on four wheelers and dirt bike, locals are friendly, quiet after 8pm. Nice spot..
Report Check-InBE VERY CAREFUL. Google took me on the very rough side of Anderson Cove road. MAKE SURE you take it from downtown Dildo (Front Road and Reids Lane). It’s about 1 km on Anderson Cove Road and the last 400m is a bit rough. Not for big rig.
Report Check-InGreat spot for multiple et rigs. Access probably too narrow for large rigs. Caplan rolling in last night with whale close behind. Great show. many locals about but very friendly and left after the fishing was done. Quiet and peaceful night.
Report Check-InAs describe a very nice spot. We were lucky enough with the weathers. what a place for a nice sunset.
