We waited until late on a Sunday night to find a spot. The 18 spots at Arkansas River were full. So we came on this side of the river and managed to find this lot right before dark. There was only one other vehicle, so plenty of room. A van joined later on. There are portapotties. It’s just a dirt lot, but if you walk past the picnic tables, the route along the river is gorgeous.
Report Check-InQuite a few people camping & it was difficult to find a level spot, but the sound of the river made it a quiet place to sleep.
Report Check-InNice pull-out near the river. Only room for 2-4 vehicles/campers without crowding others out. Picnic tables at either end of pullout. Completely open in the off-season (river-running). From the appearance of the site probably busy in the summer. Good cell coverage.
