Fairgrounds at big timber, toilets, no other facilities, good safe place to park up for a donation at the hut on the left as you drive in. Shared the paddock with some horses when we were there. Good stop over, has cell phone reception.

quiet, peaceful, level. no amenities. porta potties you see our locked. much better than the casinos / gas station / truck stop/restaurant places a couple of miles away. except for maybe, you know that thing about no toilets.
County does not have to let travelers use the grounds for overnight stays; nice that they do. make donations to Sweet Grass County. Drop box on building to right of pens. all this is on the left as you drive in.

FREE. Only shade on southern boundary, no shelter from wind.
Portapotties at rodeo arena side padlocked but mens' restroom (in centre of parking area) with flushing toilets was open.
Got in at 10:30 for a night on our way down to West Yellowstone. One other van here and pretty quiet throughout the night.
Report Check-InNice place, level area, quiet. Appreciate the county allowing us to stay. Left a donation for the hospitality.
Report Check-InVery friendly location . We slept there just after the rodeo (under permanent rain but great atmosphere) and popped up at big timber bakery : very nice breakfast spot feeling at home among family and friends.
Report Check-InWe had the whole place to ourselves for a nice quiet night. Thanks to previous members for sending us here.
