Description

*Overnight camping/parking is NOT available at this location.
.....
This is a small local park, about 20 parking spaces on gravel. Mostly level, hiking trails and porta potty. Sheriff drove by about 7 PM and then again the next morning at 7:30 AM, with no problem. Absolutely quiet and absolutely dark but felt very safe. There’s a gate at the entrance but doesn’t appear to have been closed in years. There’s plenty of space for big rigs but on the way in, some tree branches that have a max height of about 10 feet.

A picture of the rules is included. BTW, Hot air ballooning it’s not allowed.

We parked in the middle of the parking lot and we were able to get enough of a view of the sky for Starlink to mostly work; I wouldn't normally do this, but it seemed that no one else was joining. Took a short hike on the trail in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.

Report Check-In

Arrived around 8pm, one RV there. Beautiful, secluded spot off the road, clean port-a-potty, lovely walking trails with civil war trenches and educational plaques. Some other trucks arrived in the morning but no one bothered us.

super quiet and pretty. was the only one here all night. pretty clean porta potty.

Report Check-In

excellent quiet spot. there's a nearby train whose horn can be heard, but otherwise it's a lovely spot in the woods with plenty of parking for B or C, not sure about A or semis. Nice historic hiking trail, and a clean Porto
